EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT
1. Parties
This Equipment Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between [BUSINESS NAME] ("Owner") and the renter named below ("Renter").
2. Equipment
Owner rents to Renter the equipment listed in the attached schedule, including accessories and cases ("Equipment"). Renter has inspected the Equipment, or will at delivery, and accepts it in good working condition unless noted in writing.
3. Rental period
The rental begins on [START DATE AND TIME] and ends on [END DATE AND TIME]. Equipment returned late will be charged at [LATE RATE] for each additional [DAY / HOUR].
4. Delivery or pickup

5. Fees, deposit, and security

6. Use of equipment
Renter will use the Equipment only for its intended purpose, follow Owner's instructions, keep it away from water and weather unless it's rated for outdoor use, and not open, repair, or modify it.
7. Damage and loss
Renter is responsible for loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear from the time the Equipment is delivered or picked up until it is returned. Renter will pay repair costs or replacement value as determined by Owner.
8. Liability
Renter assumes all risk arising from the use of the Equipment during the rental period and agrees to indemnify Owner against claims arising from that use, except those caused by Owner's negligence. [HAVE AN ATTORNEY REVIEW THIS CLAUSE FOR YOUR STATE.]
9. Cancellation
Cancellations made at least [HOURS] hours before the rental begins receive a refund of the deposit, less any non-refundable fees. Later cancellations [TERMS].
